IT Home reported on October 24 that OPPO and Ant Group have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, marking a major step toward a more intelligent and connected lifestyle experience.

Under this partnership, both parties will collaborate across multiple areas — including AI agents, service ecosystems, “Tap to Connect” features, healthcare services, insurance, and user experience — to jointly create a user-centric smart living environment.

According to the announcement, the two companies will focus heavily on integrating AI agent services. By understanding user needs and real-world scenarios, they aim to build seamless synergy between smart assistants and application services. On one hand, OPPO’s Xiaobu voice assistant will connect directly with Ant Group’s Alipay ecosystem, allowing users to activate functions such as the transit code simply by speaking to Xiaobu. On the other hand, Alipay’s AI agent services will intelligently recommend relevant tools and services directly to OPPO smartphone desktops, bringing users a more convenient and intuitive smart experience.

In the healthcare domain, Ant Group’s AI health app, AQ, will collaborate with OPPO to enhance medical knowledge sharing and AI-powered health services.

The partnership will also extend to a variety of everyday smart scenarios — from transportation and government services to healthcare, logistics, dining, and utility payments. These services will appear on users’ devices through Xiaobu’s “Smart Suggestion Cards,” offering proactive recommendations that transform the experience from “users searching for services” to “services finding users.”

Additionally, OPPO will enhance the “Tap to Connect” experience through software and hardware upgrades, enabling users to complete Alipay payments with a simple tap — even when the phone screen is off. Ant Group will further expand Alipay’s “Tap to Connect” ecosystem, helping OPPO become the first Chinese smartphone brand to support “Tap to Send Red Packets” via Alipay.

Looking ahead, OPPO and Ant Group will continue to deepen collaboration in innovation and security, strengthening the reliability of AI connection technologies, optimizing performance, and exploring new opportunities in insurance, business development, and global expansion.
