November 3rd — London. Apple UK has launched a festive creative campaign inviting local iPad users to co-create digital “Christmas trees.” The 24 winning designs will be projected onto the iconic towers of Apple’s Battersea headquarters, transforming the London skyline into a glowing celebration of technology and art.

In 2023, legendary artist David Hockney illuminated Battersea Power Station with his iPad Pro creation “A Bigger Christmas Tree.” In 2024, Aardman Animations, the studio behind Wallace and Gromit, brought festive cheer with an iPhone 16 Pro Max animated display.

Continuing this creative tradition, Apple now welcomes all UK iPad users—regardless of background—to submit their own designs. The winning artworks will shine from the Battersea towers throughout the holiday season, symbolizing creativity and community spirit.

Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Greg Joswiak, shared his excitement:

“With our most powerful lineup of iPads ever, we’re thrilled to bring the joy of Christmas to Battersea Power Station and inspire creativity across the country. Seeing so many unique works come together is inspiring—we can’t wait to watch them light up London.”

From November 6 to November 22, Apple Stores across the UK will host special “Today at Apple” sessions to support participants with creative guidance. These workshops will continue until December 22, giving everyone the chance to explore their festive imagination using the iPad and Apple Pencil.

Since relocating its UK headquarters to Battersea Power Station in 2023, Apple has transformed the historic site into a vibrant hub where innovation meets artistry.
