As the final contender in the 2025 lineup of six-seater flagship SUVs, the Voyah Taishan has quickly become a headline model in China’s push toward the premium segment, drawing intense anticipation from consumers across the country.

Since the brand announced its November 18 launch date and began shipping display vehicles to dealerships nationwide, Voyah showrooms have been experiencing a surge in foot traffic. Many sales consultants openly admit that “overtime has become routine,” with long nights spent livestreaming, verifying customer information, and preparing vehicles for eager visitors.

Some sales staff even shared photos of brightly lit showrooms on social media with the caption: “All hands on deck for the Taishan launch. Cars are here — we invite you to be among the first to experience them!”

Recently, Voyah CBO and Sales Company General Manager Shao Mingfeng revealed that the starting price of the Taishan may be set at around 450,000 yuan. Industry experts note that such pricing is both a test of the brand’s strength and a signal of its confidence in the product. For Voyah, Taishan must deliver a clear message that “price defines positioning” in the high-end market — and the vehicle must demonstrate performance worthy of that benchmark.

The Voyah Taishan comes standard with the 800V “Lanhai” intelligent hybrid system, offering 350 km of pure electric range and more than 1,400 km of combined driving range. Of particular significance, it is the first domestic flagship SUV equipped with a three-chamber air suspension — a feature traditionally reserved for million-yuan luxury cars. This setup, paired with EDC magic-carpet damping and 16° dual-direction rear-wheel steering, delivers extraordinary stability and precise handling, enabling the vehicle to glide confidently over varying road conditions — as steady as its namesake, Taishan.

On the intelligence side, the Taishan features Huawei’s flagship ADS Ultra system, providing advanced convenience and safety through cutting-edge autonomous-driving capabilities. The HarmonyOS 5 smart cockpit creates a fully immersive digital cabin with multi-screen integration, smooth performance, and intuitive interaction for a refined, effortless driving experience.

In China’s premium SUV scene, the “9-series” domestic flagships have already shaped a new perception in the 400,000–500,000 yuan range, standing toe-to-toe with established luxury rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE. If the Voyah Taishan successfully positions itself at the 450,000-yuan mark, its strong competitiveness may allow it to carve out a deeper, more distinctive, and more value-rich identity in this segment.

On November 18, the Voyah Taishan will officially debut, taking on a price bracket that Chinese brands once struggled to enter. Display models are now available at dealerships nationwide for customers interested in a firsthand experience.
