Wang Hua from Xiaomi has confirmed his job transfer, stating, “Moving to Wuhan was my own choice.”

Wang Hua shared in a post that according to Xiaomi’s job rotation system, employees are expected to consider rotation after three years, and it becomes mandatory after five years. “So the timing of my rotation was actually decided five years ago. There were several positions to choose from, and I personally chose Wuhan,” he said.

On November 17, several media outlets reported that Wang Hua, General Manager of Xiaomi’s Public Relations Department, would soon take on a new role.

Wang Hua graduated from Sichuan University and worked in the media industry for over a decade. He joined Xiaomi in July 2015, initially entering the Xiaomi Online Marketing Department. As the head of Xiaomi’s PR team, Wang Hua frequently addressed rumors and responded to online discussions on social media, making him a well-recognized figure within Xiaomi’s public relations efforts.
