Maxey set a new NBA career-high in scoring and led the 76ers to an overtime victory over the Bucks.

(Philadelphia, Reuters) Rising NBA guard Tyrese Maxey exploded for a career-high 54 points on Friday (Nov 21, Singapore time), leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 123–114 overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks and handing the hosts their third straight loss.

The 76ers played without Joel Embiid, while the Bucks were missing Giannis Antetokounmpo due to injury, leaving Maxey to carry the offensive load.

With seven seconds remaining in regulation, Maxey calmly sank two free throws to tie the game at 106–106 and force overtime. Forty seconds into OT, Justin Edwards hit his only three-pointer of the game to give the Sixers the lead, before Maxey sealed the win with four clutch free throws in the final 22.7 seconds.

This was Paul George’s second game since returning from injury, and he contributed 21 points, helping the Sixers remain unbeaten in overtime games this season (2–0).

Grizzlies Set Franchise Assist Record; Kings Drop Eighth Straight

Despite missing Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies recorded a franchise-high 42 assists in a dominant 137–96 win over the visiting Sacramento Kings, snapping a five-game losing streak.

Memphis took control early with 25 assists and only two turnovers in the first half—none in the second quarter—leading 75–47 at halftime.

The Kings extended their longest losing streak since the 2020–21 season (eight games), matching their worst start in franchise history at 3–13.
