According to a report from Kuai Technology on November 24, Apple’s upcoming iOS 27 is expected to follow a development approach similar to Mac OS X Snow Leopard, focusing on stability, system refinement, and AI enhancements rather than flashy new features.

Sources indicate that iOS 27 will adopt a “ quality over quantity ” philosophy—prioritizing core performance improvements, better system reliability, and a smoother user experience. Aside from AI-related additions, Apple reportedly aims to keep the system clean and avoid unnecessary feature bloat.

Earlier this month, well-known Apple analyst Mark Gurman also revealed that iOS 27 and macOS 27 will introduce major AI-driven updates. These are expected to include:

  • A redesigned visual interface for Siri
  • AI-powered web search tools
  • Smart health-related AI assistants

iOS 27 is expected to make its first official appearance at WWDC 2026, and the iPhone 18 series launching in September will ship with the new system pre-installed.
