A single paternity test has officially put an end to the swirling “biological father” rumors. On November 26, Show Lo’s manager, Xiao Shuang, posted a genetic report on Weibo, directly responding to claims that two children were fathered by Show Lo. Her caption, particularly the line “Although there is no blood relation,” quickly shifted public attention from “Are they his biological kids?” to “So parenthood can look like this.”

The report—issued by Taiwan’s WisGene Genetic Laboratory—left no room for speculation. It confirmed a 0% probability of paternity between Show Lo and the children, Migou and Mibao. Eight out of twenty STR markers did not match, with a 99.99% exclusion rate. In other words, scientifically, Show Lo is definitely not their biological father.

But instead of expressing frustration, Xiao Shuang’s post was filled with warmth. She emphasized that although Show Lo isn’t the children’s biological parent, he has long taken on the role of a devoted “godfather”—driving them to and from school, attending activities, being part of their everyday lives, and even leaving them a share of his estate in his will. As she put it, Show Lo “filled the absence of a father figure” and made sure they “would not feel inferior growing up.”

The response immediately shifted public sentiment. Some netizens praised him: “Being there matters more than blood—he’s a better father figure than many real dads.” Others applauded his choice to use legal evidence to quickly dispel rumors and minimize harm to the children, calling it “a modern sense of family responsibility.”
