Buick Zhi Jing Shijia MPV — The Villa-Class New Energy Family Vehicle Launching December 5

IT House reported on November 29 that Buick has officially confirmed its highly anticipated “villa-class new energy family MPV,” the Buick Zhi Jing Shijia, will launch on December 5. From previously released details, the vehicle introduces several premium comfort and intelligent innovations, including ultra-low cloud-platform concierge suspension, gesture-controlled smart sliding doors, and adaptive zero-gravity seating. On the tech side, it runs on the Qualcomm SA8775P chip and features a portable smart control display. The MPV also integrates Buick’s newly upgraded “True Dragon” plug-in hybrid system and the advanced “Xiaoyao Intelligent Drive” assisted-driving suite.

In the cockpit, the front row is equipped with a sweeping triple-screen integrated display, complemented by a 21-inch 4K smart rear screen—both certified by TÜV Rheinland for eye-comfort protection. Additional premium features include a 50-inch AR HUD, smart mobility assistant, onboard OMS camera, plus intelligent functions such as conversational AI interaction, one-touch vehicle preparation, and pet monitoring mode. According to registration data, the vehicle measures 5260mm × 2000mm × 1835mm, with a wheelbase of 3160mm. The plug-in hybrid version utilizes a 1.5T PHEV system, delivering 132kW from the engine and 200kW from the electric motor, paired with a 40.9kWh LFP battery. Fuel consumption is rated at 6.83–7.30L per 100km, while pure-electric range reaches between 171–180km.

The pure-electric edition will be offered in both single-motor two-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive configurations. The single-motor model provides 332kW of power, while the dual-motor layout delivers 332kW front and 150kW rear. Both versions feature a max speed of 180km/h and utilize lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by SAIC Times Power Battery Co., Ltd.
