On December 5 (Beijing time), the Golden State Warriors faced the Philadelphia 76ers on the road — and the game started in the worst possible way for them. With both Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler sidelined, the Warriors completely lost their offensive rhythm, scoring only 10 points in the first quarter and falling behind 10–30. Even worse, they were crushed by a stunning 22–0 run, marking the lowest single-quarter point total by any team this season.

Although the 76ers were also missing Paul George, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Watford, the Warriors clearly suffered more without their main offensive engines.

The first quarter was one-sided from start to finish. Golden State shot a miserable 4-for-25 from the field and 2-for-16 from three. Meanwhile, the 76ers were firing on all cylinders, putting up 30 points. Tyrese Maxey alone scored 12 — more than the entire Warriors roster combined.

If the Warriors hope to turn this around, they’ll need to regain momentum quickly. Otherwise, the game may slip away long before the final buzzer.
