In men’s singles, France’s Popov defeated China’s defending champion Shi Yuqi 21–19, 21–9 in straight games to clinch the title—sealing an unbeaten run and delivering France its first-ever World Tour Finals crown.
Popov also became the third European men’s singles champion in the event’s history since Anders Antonsen and Viktor Axelsen.
In women’s singles, Korea’s world No. 1 An Se-young outlasted China’s Wang Zhiyi in three games, winning 21–13, 18–21, 21–10 to capture her second World Tour Finals title. The 23-year-old capped a remarkable season by lifting trophies at the Malaysia Open, India Open, Orléans Masters, All England, Indonesia Open, Japan Open, China Masters, Denmark Open, France Open, Australia Open, and the World Tour Finals—bringing her 2025 tally to 11 titles.
