On December 29, the global memory chip market continues its upward momentum, marking a new wave of price increases since the third quarter. With mounting cost pressures, multiple memory brands have announced price adjustments.

Today, Film Hurricane issued a statement regarding its price revision: due to global supply chain constraints of key raw material chips, costs have risen. To maintain a stable product supply, certain memory card models will see a price increase starting January 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

The price adjustment affects Ultra2 V90 SD cards and CFB 4.0 high-speed memory cards, with increases ranging from 120 RMB to 1,700 RMB. According to third-party research, the spot prices of the two major memory chip categories, DRAM and NAND Flash, have risen over 300% since September. Industry experts note that unlike previous waves, this surge is driven by AI development and the rise of “storage-based computation” technology, and the market gap is unlikely to be filled in the next one to two years.
