The Queen of News 2 emerged as the biggest winner of the night, sweeping a total of nine awards. Lead actors Charmaine Sheh and Bosco Wong, for their roles as “Man姐” and “Kingston,” respectively, were crowned both Greater Bay Area Best Actress and Best Actor, while also securing TVB’s top acting honors.

According to Hong Kong media Sing Tao Headline, Sheh—who won three major acting awards at last year’s ceremony—continued her winning streak by clinching Best Actress once again for her role as Man Wai-sum in The Queen of News 2. This marks her fourth Best Actress win, setting a new personal record and reaffirming her status as one of TVB’s most awarded leading actresses. She also achieved the feat of winning “Triple Best Actress” honors for the second consecutive year.

Visibly emotional during her acceptance speech, Sheh described the night as unforgettable, saying this award felt like it belonged to her character “Man姐” rather than herself. She expressed gratitude for becoming one with the role and connecting deeply with audiences through the drama’s powerful storyline.

In post-award interviews, Sheh admitted that winning Best Actress for the fourth time felt surreal. She credited the success of The Queen of News 2 to the unwavering support of viewers, fans, and the entire production team. As for whether The Queen of News 3 will be produced, Sheh said there is no confirmation yet. She revealed that she has discussed the matter with director Chung Shu-kai, emphasizing that she would rather refine the character carefully than rush into production, hoping the series will remain a cherished memory for audiences.
