A fan account on social media claimed Koo “was hospitalized and absent from today’s roadshow,” while other netizens said that at one event, Raymond Lam mentioned that “Daddy” was unwell and could not attend (a nickname linked to their “father-son” roles in the film adaptation of The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber). There were also unverified claims that Koo had appeared at an earlier stop in Foshan wearing a mask and seeming unwell, but was absent from later sessions, which were reportedly completed by Lam, Justin Cheung, and Jessica Hsuan.
