AFC Names Top 10 Standout Players of the U23 Asian Cup: Li Hao Included

The AFC official website has released its list of the Top 10 Standout Players of the U23 Asian Cup, with China U23 goalkeeper Li Hao earning a well-deserved place among the selected players. He is the only representative from the Chinese squad on the list.

In its official assessment, the AFC praised Li Hao’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament. Despite China finishing as runners-up after losing to Japan in the final, Li Hao was regarded as one of the most impressive players of the competition. His number of saves far exceeded that of other goalkeepers, making him a crucial pillar of China’s defensive line.

Li Hao’s composure in one-on-one situations, along with his heroic display during the penalty shootout against Uzbekistan in the quarterfinals, proved decisive in China’s run to the final. His consistency and mental strength played a vital role in the team’s overall success.
