(Kuala Lumpur, Feb 6) Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (BIMB, 5258, Main Market Financial Services) announced the appointment of Raja Teh Maimunah as its Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1.
According to the bank’s management changes statement, the 58-year-old currently serves as CEO of AEON Bank and will step down from that role on March 31.
Raja Teh Maimunah brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, having held roles at major institutions including CIMB Group (CIMB, 1023), Hong Leong Bank (HLBANK, 5819) and Bursa Malaysia (BURSA, 1818).
Before joining AEON Bank, she served as Managing Director of Wholesale Banking at AmBank Group (AMBANK, 1015) from 2017 to 2022.
