Al-Hilal, the city rival of Al-Nassr, ranks second in sponsorship revenue with 28 contracts, but the average value is just $4.21 million per deal—far below Al-Nassr’s $9.67 million average. Most of Al-Nassr’s high-value sponsorships were signed after Ronaldo’s arrival. Previously, sponsorship deals in the Saudi league were modest, and even with the league’s growing influence, most clubs earn less than $1 million per contract.

Ticket sales and merchandising exist, but they represent a small portion of club revenue. Overall, Saudi clubs still operate at a deficit, particularly the big teams, which rely heavily on support from the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Al-Nassr is no exception—without such backing, signing top-tier stars or offering competitive contracts would be nearly impossible.
