Xiaomi unveiled the 17 Ultra Leica special overseas edition, LEITZPHONE, at MWC 2026. Compared to the domestic Leica edition, the overseas model features adjustments in Leica logo orientation and frame details, retaining the 1-inch LOFIC main sensor and 200MP 75-100mm optical zoom lens, with a reduced 6000mAh battery.
Leica CEO Matthias Harsch announced that the official name is “LEICA LEITZPHONE powered by Xiaomi”. The “Coca-Cola” Leica logo on the top-left is now vertically aligned, and the Xiaomi logo at the bottom is centered vertically, giving the phone a more international look.
In photography, the main camera uses a 1-inch Leica LOFIC sensor with high dynamic range, while the telephoto lens is a 75-100mm Leica APO optical zoom. The domestic “Leica Moment” mode is renamed Essential mode, with built-in M9 and M3 classic rangefinder filters, offering a versatile photography toolkit.
Hardware includes Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 6.9-inch 120Hz HyperRGB AMOLED display, 6000mAh battery, and 90W fast charging. The phone retains the master zoom ring to adjust exposure, zoom, and focus, with the frame engraved with “LEICA CAMERA GERMANY”.
Pricing is limited to one configuration: 16GB+1TB at €1999 (~16,214 CNY).
