((Hong Kong, March 21) Hong Kong actor Sunny Chan Kam-hung made the difficult decision to step away from his flourishing acting career after his son Chan Ka-wah was diagnosed with autism, dedicating himself fully to supporting his son’s growth. His unwavering devotion has deeply moved many over the years.

With the care and guidance of Chan and his wife Stephanie To Man-wai, their now 18-year-old son has grown into a happy and confident young man, even showcasing remarkable musical talent. Last year, he successfully held his own recital.

According to Sing Tao Headline, the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation recently announced an upcoming sharing session titled “Walk with ASD · Hear the Love,” where the Chan family will appear together.

In the promotional poster, Chan and his son are seen dressed in formal attire, making a rare public appearance together. Chan Ka-wah appears confident and composed, now a tall young adult.

At the event, he will perform and sing Take Me Home, Country Roads, showcasing his musical abilities.

Chan and his wife will also share their journey of raising a child with autism, hoping to inspire and support other families facing similar challenges.

The highlight of the event will be Chan Ka-wah’s performance as a “young pianist,” using music to express his personal journey and connect with the audience.
