(Seoul, 21st) K-pop supergroup BTS is set to hold their comeback concert BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE｜ARIRANG tonight at Gwanghwamun, Seoul. As of now, tens of thousands of fans have already gathered, creating extremely dense crowds. South Korean authorities have issued a Level 2 disaster alert this morning—the first time such a warning has been triggered for a single concert—drawing significant public attention.

This event marks BTS’s major return with their new album ARIRANG after nearly four years. According to reports, up to 260,000 fans are expected to attend. Authorities issued the alert at 7 a.m. for Seoul’s Jung District and Jongno District, highlighting concerns over crowd size and potential safety risks.

To maintain order and ensure safety, approximately 15,000 personnel will be deployed, including 6,700 police officers. South Korea’s disaster alert system consists of four levels: “Attention,” “Caution,” “Alert,” and “Severe.” A real-time monitoring control center will also be set up at the venue to handle any emergencies and safeguard attendees.
