In the second round of the international friendly series, China lost 0–2 to Cameroon. According to SofaScore ratings, goalkeeper Yan Junling earned the team’s highest score of 7.3, while fullback Hu Hetao received the lowest rating at 6.0.

Head coach Shao Jiayi made two changes to the starting lineup, introducing Wumiti Jiang and Hu Hetao. However, the adjustments had limited impact, with Hu’s performance falling short of expectations and ranking last among all players.

China’s wide players also struggled. Wang Yudong and Wei Shihao both received 6.3, while Yang Xi scored 6.4—among the lowest on the team. This highlights how China’s flanks were effectively suppressed by Cameroon, limiting both attacking output and defensive stability.

Despite conceding twice, Yan Junling stood out with a strong performance. Facing 17 shots, he made four saves, including at least two crucial stops in the second half to prevent further damage.

Among the substitutes, six players featured, with three scoring above 7.0. Liu Yang impressed with a 7.2 rating, while Baihelamu and Lin Liangming each received 7.0. Notably, SofaScore briefly made an error by misidentifying Liu Yang as Li Yang.

Overall, the match highlighted China’s resilience in goalkeeping but exposed ongoing weaknesses on the flanks and in attack.
