On March 31, the Players Championship Round of 12 delivered a thrilling comeback as world No.1 Judd Trump defeated Mark Allen 10–8.

Trump struggled early, falling behind 0–4 despite a 59 break in the opening frame. Allen capitalized with strong scoring to dominate the first session.

After the interval, however, Trump surged back in spectacular fashion—producing breaks of 71, 104, and 88 to win four consecutive frames and level the match at 4–4.

The second session saw both players trade heavy scoring, with Allen making two century breaks (121), but Trump stayed composed and kept pace, reaching 6–6.

In the decisive phase, Trump took control with breaks of 114 and 86 to lead 8–6. After splitting frames, he moved to 9–7 and secured victory with a match-winning century (100) in the 18th frame.

Elsewhere, Wu Yize leads Chris Wakelin 6–2, while Barry Hawkins holds a 5–3 advantage over Thepchaiya Un-Nooh.
