(Hong Kong, April 3) TVB actress Elaine Yiu has recently been at the center of rumors linking her to businessman Chan Man Chun (Rocky), drawing public attention. In response, actor Tsui Wai Tung, who has been romantically linked to her, publicly addressed the situation for the first time at the world premiere of We Are Not Something, expressing full trust and support for Yiu.
Earlier, Hong Kong magazine East Week reported that Yiu was seen socializing with Chan in Causeway Bay, where they reportedly played pickleball together and appeared close, sparking speculation about their relationship and raising questions about her status with Tsui. The report claimed they later went for drinks and left together late at night.
Yiu had previously denied the allegations, explaining that it was simply a gathering with friends. She stated that she accompanied a friend to a pickleball venue and coincidentally ran into Chan, whom she had not seen in years. “We only met that night. We didn’t dine or leave together—I just spoke with him briefly,” she clarified, adding that she only stayed for a short while to try the sport before leaving.
According to HK01, Tsui downplayed the rumors during the event, describing them as “mere gossip” and urging the public not to rely solely on written reports. “Many people didn’t look closely at the photos,” he said, adding that he had only met Chan once or twice and did not know him well.
When asked about his relationship with Yiu, Tsui described it as friendship, jokingly saying it is currently at “99% loading”—“If it were 100%, it would be completed,” he laughed.
On the question of trust, Tsui was firm: “Of course I trust her. We’ve known each other for a long time—she’s not someone who chases vanity.” While stating that the rumors have not affected him, he admitted feeling hurt by the reports: “Anyone would feel upset seeing her portrayed that way.”
Tesla Unveils Model Y L: Six Seats and Extra Space, but Can It Compete with True Full-Size SUVs?
Tesla has just signaled a new variant in its China-market lineup: the Model Y L (Long). With a stretched wheelbase, a three-row “2+2+2” six-seat layout, and higher output dual motors, it targets families needing more room. Yet against a flood of genuine large six-seat SUVs and MPVs, the Model Y L’s chances for mass appeal remain in question.
