Sun Li and Wu Kang-ren Star in Dangerous Liaisons, Unleashing a Dark and Twisted Game of Love

(Kuala Lumpur, April 3) The new urban drama Dangerous Relationship, starring award-winning actors Kang Ren Wu and Sun Li, has generated strong buzz since its announcement. Centered on emotional manipulation, the series follows a single mother who becomes entangled in a psychologically controlling relationship.

Sun Li plays Yan Ling, a university professor investigating her best friend’s mysterious suicide. During her search, she meets a seemingly gentle and refined psychiatrist, played by Wu. Believing she has found emotional support, she quickly marries him—only to uncover his darker, manipulative nature. Trapped in an increasingly suffocating relationship, she begins to fight back, seeking truth and reclaiming her identity.

Wu’s character presents himself as the perfect partner, yet harbors calculated intentions, making him one of the most compelling elements of the story.

Through alternating perspectives of the manipulator and the victim, the series builds a tense psychological narrative.
