In the FA Cup quarterfinal on April 5, Chelsea delivered a dominant performance at home, thrashing Port Vale 7-0 to secure a place in the semifinals and end a four-game losing streak across all competitions.

Chelsea struck early, with Hato scoring just two minutes in from a corner situation. In the 25th minute, Pedro Neto provided an assist for João Pedro, who finished clinically to make it 2-0. Before halftime, defensive pressure forced an own goal from Port Vale’s Lawrence, extending the lead to 3-0.

The second half saw Chelsea maintain full control. Tosin Adarabioyo headed in the fourth goal, followed by Andrey Santos converting another set-piece opportunity to make it 5-0.

Late in the match, Estevão Willian scored after a VAR review confirmed the goal, and Alejandro Garnacho sealed the rout with a stoppage-time penalty, bringing the final score to 7-0.

Chelsea dominated in every aspect—possession, chances, and efficiency—while their set-piece execution and attacking depth proved overwhelming. The emphatic victory not only sends them into the FA Cup semifinals but also restores confidence ahead of the final stretch of the season.
