Zhang Linghe mobbed by fans in newly surfaced footage — female fan blocks vehicle shouting “I’m sick,” prompting official studio statement

(Beijing, April 6) Actor Zhang Linghe, who rose to fame through the drama The Story of Zhu Yu, was recently involved in a chaotic incident at a high-speed rail station after being surrounded by obsessive fans and freelance photographers.

According to a statement released by his studio on April 5, Zhang was blocked, closely followed, and aggressively filmed during a routine schedule, causing serious disruption to public order and safety.

The statement described the situation as “out of control,” noting that certain individuals ignored public safety, engaged in pushing and crowding, and created potential risks not only for the actor but also for nearby passengers. The studio expressed strong condemnation, emphasizing that such behavior goes far beyond normal fan conduct.

Three key positions were outlined: a firm stance against stalking and intrusive filming, a call for fans to respect privacy and behave rationally, and a warning that legal action may be taken if such actions continue.

Zhang Linghe himself also responded, urging the public to respect order and safety, stating that he does not wish to meet supporters in such circumstances and hopes support can be expressed in appropriate ways.

It is understood that Zhang was heading to Changsha to film the variety show Who's the Murderer: Start Pushing It when he was surrounded at the station. Videos showed people running, pushing, and crowding on escalators and stairways, with some bystanders reportedly falling during the chaos.

In one instance, a woman attempted to block his vehicle and engaged in a verbal altercation before being escorted away by staff.
