(Beijing, April 18) Supermodel He Sui and actor-singer William Chan quietly welcomed a child last year, becoming a family of three. Recently, He Sui shared insights into her parenting journey, revealing that her son experienced gastroesophageal reflux in his early months, which was a stressful period for her.

In a video, she explained that around three months old, her baby strongly resisted tummy time. Through research, she discovered the “Pikler approach,” which emphasizes allowing infants to develop naturally through free movement, rather than enforcing structured physical training.

She also noted that due to reflux discomfort, her son often needed to rest on an inclined pillow while awake, limiting his time lying flat and affecting his early physical development. To address this, she gradually adjusted her approach, encouraging more time on a play mat while reducing reliance on supportive aids.

After a few days of adaptation, the baby began to roll over independently and showed improved acceptance of tummy time, along with better overall coordination. He Sui reflected that the experience reinforced the importance of respecting a child’s natural developmental pace.

Recently, netizens also spotted her taking her son for a walk in a park. Away from the spotlight, she appeared relaxed and attentive, embracing a more grounded, maternal side of life.

Prior to her current relationship with William Chan, He Sui’s past marriage also drew attention. She had announced a marriage in 2014, which lasted about seven months before ending. There were later rumors regarding her ex-husband’s identity, though these claims were never officially confirmed.
