(Hollywood, April 19) Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman has shared joyful news—at 44, she is expecting her third child, marking a new chapter in her life.
In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Portman confirmed that she and her partner, French music producer Tanguy Destable, are preparing to welcome their first child together. The couple expressed excitement and gratitude for the journey ahead.
“We’re both incredibly excited and grateful. It feels like an indescribable honor—a true miracle of life,” she shared.
Speaking about her health, Portman revealed that she feels even more energetic than expected, noting that this pregnancy has been similar to her previous experiences. Currently based in Paris, she maintains her well-being through swimming and Gyrotonic exercises, focusing on embracing the pregnancy.
Reflecting on her past, Portman was previously married to choreographer Benjamin Millepied. The couple, once seen as a model relationship, separated following reports of infidelity and finalized their divorce in March 2024.
Now, she approaches life with a renewed sense of clarity: “I know who I want to be with and what kind of energy I want around me.” She added that this pregnancy may be her last, making it even more meaningful and something she cherishes deeply.
As the daughter of a reproductive medicine specialist, Portman is well aware of the challenges of pregnancy later in life. She emphasized that while pregnancy is beautiful and joyful, it also requires resilience and should never be taken lightly.
