(Taipei, 26th) Jay Chou has been linked to another overseas property purchase after Australian media reported that a luxury estate in Toorak, Melbourne—worth nearly USD 50 million—had been acquired, allegedly connected to his wife Hannah Quinlivan’s family.

According to reports, the 1920s-built mansion spans over 3,000 ping and features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a grand reception hall, designed in Mediterranean Revival style with Italian and Western villa influences. Property records show the residence was reserved on April 22 under the name of Quinlivan’s father.

In response, Chou’s agency, JVR Music, denied the speculation, stating that the couple’s primary residence remains in Taipei. “They frequently travel between Taiwan and Australia due to family ties, but there are no plans to purchase property in Australia,” the statement said.

Regarding the property being registered under Quinlivan’s father’s name, the agency added that it has no knowledge of the matter and does not intervene in personal family affairs. Quinlivan’s management team also reiterated that the couple’s life and residence are still centered in Taipei.
