SEOUL, July 29 – Speculation surrounding TWICE members' contract renewals continues to grow after reports claimed that Taiwan member Tzuyu may not renew her individual contract with JYP Entertainment. Similar reports have also emerged involving Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, Dahyun and leader Jihyo, raising concerns among fans.

Breaking her silence, Jihyo shared a heartfelt message on the fan communication platform Bubble on Monday (July 28), revealing that she has been emotionally overwhelmed in recent days.

"I usually enjoy chatting with ONCE about my daily life, but right now I can't communicate as casually as before because my heart still feels heavy," she wrote.

Jihyo explained that she had spent a long time thinking before reaching out to fans, adding that she hopes to resolve everything properly and share updates as soon as possible.

"I'll do my best to sort everything out and bring you news as quickly as I can."

Addressing the ongoing contract speculation, she stressed that she would carefully and rationally consider every option before making any decision about her future.

"As the owner of my own life, I'll make my choice thoughtfully. I hope ONCE will continue to support and trust me, just as you always have."

She also reaffirmed her love for TWICE, saying she believes fans understand how much the group means to her.

Previously, JYP Entertainment responded to reports that Jihyo, Tzuyu, Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Dahyun may transfer their individual management to other agencies by stating that an official announcement will be made once related matters are finalised.
