(Hong Kong, July 29) Actor Julian Cheung recently made a rare public appearance with his 19-year-old son, Cheung Mo Tung, better known as Morton, as the father-son duo attended Hong Kong magician Louis Yan's magic show at the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Morton kept a low profile in casual clothing and a face mask, but his tall frame of over 180cm still drew plenty of attention. What surprised many was his dramatic new look—trading his previous Korean-inspired hairstyle for a clean buzz cut that gave him a more mature and masculine appearance.

The pair reacted differently when spotted by members of the public. Julian greeted cameras with a warm smile after removing his mask, while Morton stayed a few steps behind, avoided eye contact and appeared slightly nervous, occasionally fidgeting with his clothes.

Some online users described him as shy based on the brief footage, though such clips are not enough to draw conclusions about his personality. Julian's wife, actress Anita Yuen, had previously shared that their son is naturally reserved and tends to get nervous whenever he is asked to perform, suggesting he has yet to show any interest in entering the entertainment industry.

Many fans also noticed that Morton's walking style closely resembles Julian's iconic "Chor Gor" character from the classic TV drama Return of the Cuckoo, earning him the affectionate nickname "Chor Gor 2.0."

Besides his appearance, Morton's love life has also attracted attention. The UK-based student previously shared photos and videos with a young woman on social media, showing the pair strolling together, playing on a seesaw and sharing affectionate moments, sparking speculation that he had gone public with his relationship. Fans couldn't help but remark on how quickly time has flown and wondered if he would eventually introduce his girlfriend to his parents.
