"Ride the Wind 2026" Crowns Pets Tseng Champion as Zhang Yue Wins Team Captain Title

(Beijing, June 28) The live grand finale of Ride the Wind 2026 (Sisters Who Make Waves 7) concluded with 12 contestants earning spots in the debut group from a field of 23 finalists. Taiwanese singer Pets Tseng emerged as the Overall Champion and debuted as the group's centre (C-position), while actress Zhang Yue was named Team Captain of the Year.

An emotional Tseng broke down in tears after being announced as the winner. Speaking on stage, she said the championship belonged not only to her, but to all 33 women who had taken part in the season.

"I want to dedicate this trophy to every sister who has fought alongside me since the very first stage. This trophy belongs to all 33 of us," she said. "To anyone who has ever doubted themselves, keep believing in what you truly love. If it helps you grow, it's worth holding on to."

She also encouraged everyone to pursue their dreams with courage and thanked her family, friends and fellow contestants for their unwavering support. Tseng vowed to cherish every opportunity and continue moving forward with the spirit of "riding the wind."

The final 12-member debut line-up, announced in order, consists of Angel Lee, Pets Tseng, An Qi, Zhang Yue, Hsiao Chiang, Ye Yiqian, Wang Meng, Li Xiaoran, Sun Yi, Tang Yixin, Fan Weiqi and Xu Jie'er, with Tseng taking the coveted centre position.

After being named Team Captain of the Year, Zhang Yue said she did not join the programme to remove labels placed upon her, but to add new ones that showcase the many possibilities women can embrace.

"We're all different, but we're all resilient. Every one of us is amazing," she said.
