KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 — After a decade-long relationship, Hong Kong actors Lisa Chong (Chong Si Ming) and Mat Yeung are set to marry on Aug. 2 at the JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The wedding has attracted many celebrity friends, with the original cast of Come Home Love expected to reunite to celebrate the couple's special day.
According to Hong Kong media, Lai Lok Yi, who portrayed "Ma Chong" in the sitcom, has already arrived in Malaysia with his wife and children. Speaking to the media, he shared that many members of the original Come Home Love family would be attending the wedding, expressing happiness at being able to witness the couple's milestone together.
Lai said he had watched the pair's relationship blossom over the years and was delighted to celebrate their happy ending alongside their longtime friends.
Yeung Cheuk Na, known for playing "Ha Je," also arrived in Kuala Lumpur ahead of the ceremony with her husband. She attended the engagement celebration of Lisa Chong's sister, Chong Sze Wah, and later shared photos from the gathering, highlighting the close bond among the cast members.
Original cast member Max Cheung also travelled to Malaysia and recorded a congratulatory message for the newlyweds. He said he had witnessed their journey from dating to marriage and wished them a lifetime of happiness together.
Other celebrity guests, including Kenneth Ma, Roxanne Tong and Cheung Mei Nei, are also expected to attend. Although Raymond Lam and Tavia Yeung will miss the ceremony due to work commitments, they have already sent their blessings.
