All four series have completed four games. Only the Thunder–Nuggets matchup remains tied at 2–2; the other three top seeds have all fallen behind 1–3 and squandered their chance to close out the series—compounded by injuries to each team’s star.

Warriors vs. Timberwolves (Series: 1–3)

In Game 4, Golden State led by two at halftime thanks to a 20–9 advantage at the foul line. But Minnesota exploded in the third quarter, outscoring the Warriors 39–17 to turn a two-point deficit into a 20-point lead. Golden State briefly cut the margin to seven in the fourth, but ultimately fell 110–117. With the loss, the Warriors have dropped three straight and now trail 1–3. Stephen Curry is expected to return in Game 6 at the earliest—so if Minnesota wins Game 5 at home, Golden State will be eliminated before he can suit up.

Thunder vs. Nuggets (Series: 2–2)

Oklahoma City and Denver remain deadlocked, the only second-round series tied after four games. The Thunder fell behind 1–2—losing Game 1 on a near-game-winner by Eric Gordon and dropping Game 3 in overtime—before edging Denver in Game 4 to force this pivotal Game 5.

Celtics vs. Knicks (Series: 1–3)

Top-seeded Cleveland mirrored Boston’s fate in Game 4, at one point trailing by as many as 44 points before losing by 20 to Indiana. Donovan Mitchell exited the game early with an injury; his availability for Game 5 remains uncertain. The Cavs now face elimination, down 1–3 to the Pacers.
