Estun Kudro to Launch Second-Generation Humanoid Robot CODROID 02 on June 11
According to Xinhua Intersection, Chinese robotics company Estun Kudro will officially unveil its second-generation humanoid robot, CODROID 02, on June 11. Compared to the first-generation CODROID 01, the new model is expected to deliver significantly enhanced joint mobility, flexibility, and adaptability in complex scenarios.
Estun Kudro debuted the CODROID 01 in September 2023, showcasing independently developed integrated joint modules and dexterous hands. The robot stands 170 cm tall, weighs less than 80 kg, has 44 degrees of freedom, and features fully in-house developed core components.
Founded in July 2022, Estun Kudro focuses on humanoid robot components and algorithm development. The company is backed by Estun Automation, one of China's "Four Little Dragons" in the smart industrial robotics sector. The launch of CODROID 02 represents Estun's latest strategic step into the humanoid robotics field.
