iPhone 17 Series Countdown: Apple Joins Xiaohongshu, Four New Models Revealed

August 15 – With less than a month to go before the official unveiling of the iPhone 17 lineup, Apple has kicked off its pre-launch campaign. Today, the company officially joined Xiaohongshu, introducing itself with the message: “Hello, this is Apple. Here, we share technology, creativity, and the future.” This marks a significant step in Apple’s social media strategy for the Chinese market.

Event Date & Lineup

According to leaks, the iPhone 17 launch event will be held on September 10 at 1:00 a.m. Beijing time. As per tradition, Apple is expected to send out invitations two weeks before the event.
Four models are expected to debut:

• iPhone 17
• iPhone 17 Air (the thinnest in Apple’s history)
• iPhone 17 Pro
• iPhone 17 Pro Max

Camera & Performance Upgrades

The iPhone 17 Pro series will feature a new horizontal large-matrix DECO camera design, with three 48MP rear cameras and an upgraded 24MP front camera. It will be powered by the all-new A19 Pro chip, bringing significant improvements in both imaging and performance.

The Pro models will also introduce a new orange color, with an integrated aluminum alloy frame and back panel, a glass Apple logo area, and support for wireless charging.

iPhone 17 Air: Ultra-Thin Design Record

One of the most talked-about models, the iPhone 17 Air, will measure only about 5.5mm thick — the thinnest iPhone ever. To achieve this extreme slimness, the Air will have a battery capacity under 3000mAh and will remove the physical SIM card slot, supporting only eSIM.
