A Ferrari 488 Involved! 62-Year-Old Woman’s Parking Mishap Sparks Multi-Car Collision in Tianjin

At around 12:30 p.m. on October 31, a dramatic accident unfolded at a parking lot near the intersection of Nanjing Road and Chifeng Road in Tianjin’s Heping District. A white sedan suddenly accelerated in reverse upon starting, crashing into a Leapmotor T03 and a Ferrari 488. After a brief pause, the vehicle lurched forward, broke through a guardrail, and sped onto the main road, colliding with two pedestrians and a taxi before coming to a stop.

The incident resulted in damage to four vehicles—including an electric bicycle—and left three people with minor injuries. Among the injured was a passenger from the taxi, all of whom were promptly treated and are now in stable condition.

Authorities confirmed that the driver, a 62-year-old woman surnamed Wu, was neither under the influence of alcohol nor drugs at the time of the crash. The police determined the cause to be improper operation and have since opened a case for investigation. The division of responsibility and compensation arrangements are currently being processed.
