Chinese mixed doubles star Huang Yaqiong and men’s doubles ace Liu Yuchen are set to tie the knot at the end of this month. Last year, after Huang won the mixed doubles gold at the Paris Olympics, Liu proposed to her on the spot — a moment widely celebrated by fans. In August this year, the couple officially announced that they had registered their marriage. Recently, their wedding photos surfaced online, drawing waves of warm blessings.

Huang shared the photos on Weibo with the heartfelt caption:
“Us in front of the camera, and the rest of our lives behind it.”

At 31, Huang Yaqiong remains in top form — she won both the women’s team and mixed doubles titles at the recently concluded National Games.

Liu Yuchen, 30, won the men’s doubles silver at the Tokyo Olympics with Li Junhui. He later withdrew from the national team due to a severe hip injury but continued training and secured a bronze medal in men’s doubles at this year’s National Games.
