Hong Kong, 21 — The TVB anniversary drama The Queen of News 2 has entered its most intense phase yet. Priscilla Wong’s character “Tong Chi Yiu” has fully transitioned into her “Blackened 2.0” version, with her revenge tactics becoming so ruthless and unhinged that viewers are furious, flooding social media with angry comments.

In Season 1, Tong Chi Yiu was still relatively pure despite her ambition. After being fired by “Man-jeh” (Charmaine Sheh) for smashing a car window, she knelt publicly to beg for forgiveness. When rejected, she went to George (Kenneth Ma) for help, only to be belittled again—an emotional double blow that planted the seed of her future transformation.

In Season 2, Tong Chi Yiu returns no longer as a powerless reporter but as a popular KOL with massive influence. With the support of new power figure Ko Siu Wah (Bosco Wong), she begins targeting Man-jeh with calculated attacks, manipulating public opinion and setting traps with precision.

In recent episodes, she has crossed all professional boundaries. Episode 7 shows her “feeding off tragedy,” repeatedly exploiting Lin Po-la’s death to boost her influence. While pretending to comfort the grieving mother, she subtly directs blame toward Man-jeh, infuriating audiences with her hypocrisy.

Season 1 saw Tong Chi Yiu kneel before Man-jeh.
Season 2 shows her scheming to force Man-jeh to kneel instead.

The grudge that started with a single kneel has escalated into a full-blown war.
Will Tong Chi Yiu succeed? Or will Man-jeh turn the tables?
Fans are heatedly debating the next twist.
