(New York, 21st)
U.S. retail giant Walmart reported strong results for the third quarter of fiscal 2026 (ended October 30). Net profit surged 34.21% year-on-year to USD 6.143 billion (about RM25.4 billion). Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) came in at USD 0.62, beating market expectations of USD 0.60. Revenue rose 5.84% year-on-year to USD 179.496 billion (approximately RM743.8 billion).

Comparable U.S. sales—including physical stores and e-commerce—grew 4.5%, outperforming analysts’ expectations of 3.8%.

Walmart also raised its full-year guidance, now projecting net sales growth between 4.8% and 5.1%. Adjusted EPS is expected to range from USD 2.58 to USD 2.63. This marks the retailer’s second upward revision to its full-year outlook this year.

The company further announced it will transfer its listing from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to the Nasdaq exchange effective December 9, while retaining its trading symbol “WMT.” Walmart said Nasdaq better aligns with its long-term strategy of being “people-led and tech-powered.”
