Sina Tech reported on the afternoon of November 24 that Southeast Asian e-commerce platform Lazada has wrapped up its Double 11 campaign. According to official data, LazMall, Lazada’s online brand marketplace, served as the primary growth driver, with sales soaring 11-fold year-over-year and average order value increasing by 141%. In Singapore alone, LazMall’s average order value jumped 278%, while order volume rose more than four times compared to normal periods.
As part of Lazada’s upgraded brand strategy, its system is now fully integrated with Tmall. Tmall merchants can register through their backend and instantly launch their Lazada flagship stores, simplifying cross-border expansion. During Double 11, Tmall merchants generated over 100 million RMB in sales on Lazada. Brands such as CAROTE achieved over 10 times monthly growth, while other Chinese brands like TORRAS and AULA exceeded 1 million RMB in GMV.
Lazada also recently introduced five AI-powered assistants—AI Lazzie shopping assistant, logistics assistant, marketing assistant, refund assistant, and listing assistant—to lower the barriers for brands entering Southeast Asia and improve personalized shopping experiences. Compared with the September campaign, orders involving AI Lazzie saw a 13.19% higher conversion rate during Double 11.
Lazada President Wei Meng noted that as Southeast Asian consumers increasingly prioritize genuine and high-quality products, LazMall’s brand ecosystem is emerging at the right time, supporting both consumer demand and sustainable growth in the region’s e-commerce industry.
