(Salt Lake City) The Los Angeles Lakers edged out the Utah Jazz 108–106 on Monday (Nov 24, Singapore time), completing a two-game sweep of the Jazz within a week and extending their NBA winning streak to four games.

Last week, the Lakers comfortably defeated Utah 140–126 at home, but the rematch in Salt Lake City proved far more intense. The Jazz mounted a late 12–2 run and narrowed the gap to 106–107 with 41 seconds left.

Lakers star Luka Doncic split a pair of free throws with six seconds remaining, leaving Utah a chance to steal the win. However, Keyonte George missed the potential game-winning three-pointer, despite finishing with an impressive 27 points and eight assists.

Doncic led the Lakers with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. LeBron James, in his second game after returning from injury, added 17 points and eight assists, while Austin Reaves contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Thunder avenge loss, extend win streak to nine

The defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, cruised to a 122–95 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on the same day, extending their winning streak to nine games while avenging their only loss of the season.

The Trail Blazers stunned the Thunder 121–119 on November 5, handing them their first defeat of the year. But in the latest meeting, Portland stood no chance on the road, as the Thunder dominated from start to finish.
