On November 28, Huawei's Mate 80 series officially went on sale, instantly igniting nationwide demand. Since pre-orders opened on November 17, the series has shown strong momentum. On launch day, multiple configurations sold out rapidly on Huawei’s online store and major e-commerce platforms, while offline stores across China saw long queues. The appearance of public figures—including Olympic champion Sun Yang and actress Ying’er—further amplified the “celebrity pick” effect.

The Mate 80 series stands out with competitive pricing and significant upgrades. Starting at 4,699 RMB, the base model is 800 RMB cheaper than its predecessor. The Pro starts at 5,999 RMB, Pro Max at 7,999 RMB, and the RS Ultimate Edition at 11,999 RMB. With HarmonyOS perks, trade-in bonuses, daily sign-in rewards, government subsidies, and 12-month interest-free installments, users can enjoy up to 2,500 RMB in total savings.

The series delivers breakthroughs across design, imaging, performance, and durability: a new dual-ring aesthetic, 2.5D display with 3D ToF security, the robust Xuanwu architecture, IP68/IP69 protection, second-generation True-Chroma imaging, HarmonyOS 6, and the upgraded Xiaoyi AI assistant. Features like 700 MHz emergency communication, Outdoor Exploration Mode, Beidou satellite weather updates, and offline group messaging make it highly capable in extreme scenarios.

With strong early sales and growing production capacity, the Mate 80 series is poised to further solidify Huawei’s leadership in the premium flagship market and push the industry toward smarter, safer, and more user-centric innovation.
