On December 2 (Beijing Time), Olympic snowboarding champion Su Yiming addressed the trending topic of his wish to go skiing with Olympic diving champion Quan Hongchan — and his response was both sincere and playful.

After the National Games, Quan Hongchan visited a ski resort in Altay, Xinjiang.
Day 1: cautious and testing the basics.
Day 2: brave attempts but frequent falls.
Day 3: fully in rhythm and even mastering edge-switching.

Her rapid improvement amazed everyone — “Champions learn fast no matter what sport!”

Su Yiming previously praised her, saying:
“I heard she learned edge-switching within three days. She’s incredibly talented. I hope we get a chance to ski together someday.”

Recently, at the FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup finals in Genting, Zhangjiakou, Su Yiming stunned the crowd with a historic “back-to-back 1980,” scoring a dominant 174.50 points to take the gold.

During the interview afterward, he responded again to the idea of skiing with Quan Hongchan:
“She learns snowboarding very quickly and has great talent. But both of us have very tight schedules and heavy training tasks for our respective events right now.”

Still, he left room for future excitement:
“Maybe later in the off-season, I’d be more than willing to meet up with her for some skiing and technical exchange. I might even want to try diving myself — maybe we can each challenge the other on the 10-meter platform!”

The playful cross-sport interaction between the two Olympic champions has delighted fans, who now eagerly await the possibility of a legendary “snow slope + diving platform” collaboration.
