(Tokyo, 28th) Japanese entertainer Koichi Domoto, 46, has announced that he is getting married via an official statement posted on STARTO’s website. He noted that while the matter is personal, he wanted to share the news with fans and those who have supported him throughout the years. Domoto added that he will continue working with even greater dedication and gratitude, and hopes for ongoing support.
His longtime partner Tsuyoshi Domoto previously announced his marriage in January last year to Kanako Momota of Momoiro Clover Z. With Koichi Domoto’s year-end marriage announcement, both members of “DOMOTO” are now married.
Earlier, Japanese outlet Josei SEVEN reported in October that Domoto might be close to tying the knot, speculating that his partner could be Emi Sato, who has appeared in the drama Hana Yori Dango. The report also claimed she left her agency on September 30 and has had no new acting work scheduled since. Known for keeping his private life out of the spotlight, Domoto did not reveal his spouse’s identity in the official announcement.
