JJ Lin’s girlfriend “Qiqi” reportedly appeared at a police station to file a report, sparking heated discussion as the reason remains unclear.

(Beijing, Jan 7) Mandopop star JJ Lin recently surprised the public by confirming his romantic relationship, revealing that his girlfriend is a Chinese internet influencer known as “Qiqi.” Following the announcement, Qiqi’s family background has come under scrutiny, sparking widespread speculation online.

On January 5, Qiqi was reportedly seen visiting a police station in Beijing’s Haidian District to file a report. Footage of the incident quickly circulated online and soon trended on social media, with many netizens questioning the purpose of her visit.

According to a video released by Chinese paparazzi account “Guatian Hanjie,” Qiqi was dressed in a black hooded jacket and deliberately pulled the hood over her head while entering the police station, appearing cautious and attempting to avoid cameras. Despite this, she was still recognized by her bangs. An assistant was seen accompanying her.

After completing the report, Qiqi and her assistant were later spotted visiting a nearby shopping mall. As of now, neither the police nor related parties have disclosed details regarding the case.

Since the relationship became public, rumors surrounding Qiqi have continued to surface. Online claims suggest her father may be involved in an economic dispute and has remained overseas. Others, claiming to be former classmates, have accused her of fabricating a “wealthy second-generation” persona. She has also been accused of reselling JJ Lin concert tickets through alternative accounts in 2023, raising suspicions of profiting from personal connections.
