Blackview Unveils the Mega 12 Tablet, Packed with Standout Performance and Feature Highlights

ITHome reports that Blackview has officially launched the Mega 12 tablet in overseas markets. The device comes with an IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, though it’s not positioned as a full rugged tablet since it lacks shock-absorbing and anti-impact reinforcement.

In terms of design, the Mega 12 measures 280.2 × 194.2 × 8.2 mm and weighs 960 g. It features a 12.2-inch IPS LCD display with a peak brightness of up to 350 cd/m², a refresh rate of up to 102 Hz, and a 1600 × 2400 resolution. With Widevine L1 certification, the tablet supports Full HD playback on Netflix.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. It supports 5G connectivity and offers dual-SIM capability. The SIM tray uses a hybrid “choose two out of three” design, allowing users to select between two SIM cards or one SIM plus a microSD card for storage expansion.

On the software side, the Mega 12 runs Android 16 and includes a “PC Mode” feature, enabling a more desktop-like, windowed multitasking experience.

For memory and storage, Blackview offers 12GB or 16GB RAM options, paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The tablet is equipped with a 50MP rear camera, a 10,000mAh battery, and 55W wired fast charging.

Pricing starts at USD 300 (roughly CNY 2,099 based on the current exchange rate).
