Chinese influencer “Ni De Dukou” reportedly passed away suddenly on New Year’s Day; the family has confirmed the cremation.

(Beijing, Jan 15) Chinese fashion influencer 你的渡口, whose real name is Zhang Chun, has passed away at the age of 29. The news shocked fans and quickly spread across social media platforms.

According to reports by Sichuan Observation, Zhang suffered a sudden heart-related medical emergency at her residence in Shanghai in the early hours of January 1. She was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment but later pronounced dead. Her family confirmed the news on January 12 and stated that her remains had been cremated in Shanghai.

Online, screenshots believed to show messages from Zhang’s mother, known as “Xiaodu Mama,” suggested that her passing was sudden and unexpected. The messages also mentioned that Zhang had irregular sleeping habits and existing heart health concerns.

Zhang rose to fame in 2018 while still a university student by sharing sneaker culture and street fashion content online. Known early on as the “Sneaker Goddess,” she amassed over one million followers. In the following years, she expanded into music, appearing on variety shows and releasing several rap tracks.

In recent years, Zhang faced multiple challenges. Her self-invested fashion brand reportedly suffered financial losses and closed in 2023. Combined with personal and family-related difficulties, her situation drew public attention and sparked discussions about the pressures faced by online creators.
