Outrageous! Vietnamese Blogger Accuses China U23 of Using Performance-Enhancing Drugs

In the early hours of January 21, China U23 defeated Vietnam 3-0 in the AFC U23 Championship semifinals, advancing to the final against Japan. However, a Vietnamese blogger raised suspicions during a live broadcast, claiming that Chinese players might have used performance-enhancing drugs.

The blogger exclaimed, “China is cheating, they probably used PEDs. I watched the whole match, and they kept running from start to finish, none of them looked tired, running like strong bulls. I suspect they used stamina-enhancing drugs, so I suggest checking these Chinese players.”

He described the Chinese players as robotic, “If this were normal, they wouldn’t run like machines. Our Vietnamese team spent almost the entire match defending, only attacking once or twice.”

The blogger emphasized that this semifinal Chinese team was unlike any previous squads. “They launched wave after wave of attacks without stopping. Normally, China is strong defensively but weak offensively. Today, they pressed continuously, and our team could only defend, eventually conceding three goals.”

He called China’s physical condition “monster-level” and urged for doping tests: “I suggest having these players tested to see if there’s any issue. Does anyone else share my suspicion?”
