Xiaodu AI Glasses Pro Launches at ¥2299: “Super Xiaodu” Packed Into a 39g Smart Frame

Baidu has packed a ton of innovation into its latest AI smart glasses. The new Xiaodu AI Glasses Pro is officially released, starting at ¥2299. This ultra-light 39g frame houses the all-new multimodal AI assistant, Super Xiaodu, capable of translation, object recognition, automatic photo capture, and memo generation.

Meet Super Xiaodu
The highlight of the Xiaodu AI Glasses Pro is the brand-new multimodal AI assistant from Baidu. It not only supports voice interactions but also features multimodal perception.

• Object Recognition: The glasses can intelligently identify objects in context, covering 2000+ categories including plants, products, and artworks. For example, saying “Xiaodu, what kind of cat is this?” will instantly generate detailed information—a portable encyclopedia on your face.
• AI Memo: Supports voice and photo inputs to automatically generate text-and-image notes. While shopping with full hands, just say “Xiaodu, remember this,” and the glasses will take a photo and create a memo. Later, you can ask, “Where did I park?” and the system retrieves the record.
• Real-Time Translation: Achieves real-time translation in about 3 seconds, supporting dozens of professional fields such as law and medicine, with subtitles generated almost like human simultaneous interpretation.
• AI Voice Cloning: Can replicate a speaker’s voice for more immersive foreign-language conversations.

Mood Playlists & Smart Office Features
In partnership with NetEase Cloud Music, the glasses can automatically recommend playlists based on your environment. For office use, features include meeting recording, transcription, and summaries. The upcoming OTA update introduces “Meeting Insights,” analyzing meeting quality, speaker intent, and suggesting actionable insights.

Design, Battery & Imaging Upgrades

• Design: Boston and Cat-Eye frames, lightweight round and stylish options, sunglasses with gradient or photochromic lenses, compatible with prescription lenses.
• Battery: About 7.5 hours daily use, extendable to 68 hours with the charging case.
• Imaging: Snapdragon AR1 platform, Sony 12MP sensor + 1G+5P optics, supports 4K photos and 1440p/30fps stabilized videos. With EIS stabilization, running, cycling, or skateboarding footage stays smooth. 109° ultra-wide lens ensures broad field of view for urban, landscape, and daily recordings.

The Boston sunglasses version is available now, with Boston photochromic and Cat-Eye photochromic versions rolling out in December.
