Following the launch of Huawei Pura X in March 2025—the industry’s first “wide-fold” foldable smartphone—Huawei is now preparing its next-generation device, the Pura X2. Recent leaks from tech influencers have revealed the device’s design and key specifications.

The leaked renders show that the Pura X2 retains the body proportions of the Pura X but features a noticeably larger outer display. The rear camera module is arranged horizontally, housing 3-4 cameras, with the flash positioned separately. The back design remains sleek and minimalistic.

Key specifications include:

  • Inner screen 16:10, over 7 inches when unfolded
  • Rear camera supports up to 200MP photos
  • Powered by Huawei’s in-house Kirin chipset
  • Hinge adopts part of the Mate X7’s technology

  • Runs HarmonyOS 6.1
